Drake and Nicki Minaj are reportedly happy with Lil Wayne and Birdman’s recent reconciliation.
According to TMZ reports, the two artists were forced to take sides during the year-long dispute, which began in December 2014.
Lil Wayne aired his frustration with Birdman and Cash Money via Twitter over their alleged refusal to release his highly anticipated album, Tha Carter V.
‘Nicki and Drake backed Lil Wayne for obvious reasons, but we’re told they still had love for Birdman since he paved the way.’
According to TMZ: ‘We’re told Nicki and Drake felt boxed in, scared to death they’d be caught talking to Birdman.’
Tyga also addressed Lil Wayne and Birdman’s reunion during an interview with Streetz 94.5 earlier.
The L.A. rapper referred to the falling out as a typical, family spat. ‘It’s good, Wayne’s family’. He said.
‘When you got history with somebody, you always gonna go back to that.’
Lil Wayne and Birdman performed together at LIV nightclub in Miami on January 17.
On Wednesday January 20, the pair were pictured together in the studio alongside Yo Gotti.
