The time between your 20s and 30s is probably the one with the most adventurous potential. The vast majority of the people focus on their careers and degrees, but there are certain things you should do to create unforgettable memories and make yourself proud of what you managed to accomplish.

Whereas there are countless ideas which vary on your attitude and lifestyle, the following list is full of things anyone should try.


1. Visit a new continent.

New continent means a whole new experience, different culture and tons of interesting people to meet. Everyone should visit another continent at least once in a lifetime, it’s a priceless experience.


2. Travel to at least 20 countries.
Each new country you visit is an original life lesson and unique memories. The more countries you travel to, the better you can compare them and draw conclusions from people’s behavior, culture, and rituals. By spending time in different environments, we can learn a lot about ourselves.


3. Make at least one friend in every country you visit.
Traveling somewhere without making a new friend there is a huge loss. By interacting with local people, you may have a chance to learn about the secret facts of that very location and explore some mysterious places. What’s more, creating a bond with the locals creates an opportunity to revisit the country cheaper by being hosted by the people you’ve met.


4. Take a spontaneous trip.
Without planning every single detail, pack all the necessary stuff and set off into the unknown. You don’t even have to leave your country, the key is to make it impromptu, face what life throws at you and see how you can deal with that. Once the trip is over, you’ll learn some incredible lessons that you wouldn’t have by booking an all-inclusive vacation.

Catching a last-minute flight to a random destination might be a starting point for a serious adventure.


5. Learn a new language.
Do you know what’s the Bill Gates’ most regretted thing is? It’s not learning a second language. During your travel, it’s a great opportunity to practice your language skills with locals. While you are at home, you can learn the basics using books, attending a course or through online programs. And then, once you have a chance to speak with native speakers, this will be the moment when you learn the most. During just a few months of attending a German high school, I learned far more than spending two years of practice with books (though it was a good preparation).


6. Go Bungee Jumping.
This idea may seem crazy to you, but it’s just a warm up comparing to the next one. Bungee jumping is an insane way to face your fears and do something against common sense. As for me, it’s a valuable lesson which emphasizes the fact that even the scariest things turn out to be tolerable once you go through them.


7. Skydive.
As I promised, this one is hardcore. Experience the unstoppable power of gravitation and see the world from a different perspective. Though I didn’t skydive yet, doing it at least once is definitely on my bucket list.


8. Face your worst fear.
Whatever you fear, most probably it’s a mental issue and not a real danger. There’re countless phobias people suffer from. I don’t know what’s yours, but I dare you to test your limits and see how far you can go.


9. Stand on top of a mountain.

And get there going on a foot. The view from the top is invaluable and unique. You literally feel the power of nature and see how small we actually are comparing to the natural forces.


10. Boost your financial stability.
Before you turning into 30s, becoming financially independent is almost mandatory. To avoid getting lost in debt and make the money work for you and not vice versa, you should devote some time to learning finances. This 14-day plan is a great way to start.


11. Create your personal emergency fund.

Your body will be incredibly grateful and serve you well for longer.

14. Start eating healthy.

15. Get in the best shape of your life.

81% of the population feels they could write a book, but only the minority takes action and starts writing. The truth is, once you begin to write, you are a writer. Finishing a book is challenging but the sense of satisfaction afterward is definitely worth it.

Pick a topic and devote 30 minutes a day to writing. In a year or even sooner, you’ll not only drastically improve your language skills but also finish your first book.

20. Write a letter to your future self.

21. Go offline for a whole month.

Imagine no Facebook, Internet, Reddit or Lifehack for the whole month. This 30-day challenge tests your ability to entertain yourself in the world ruled by technology, avoiding the Internet and computers completely. To make it even more spicy, cut off the television.

It’s a great opportunity to spend more time with your friends and family, focus on your passions and read more books.


22. Take a picture every day for a whole year.
I doubt there are many mementos better than this. Once the year is over, you create a time-lapse which shows portrait by portrait how you changed during the 365 days.

Watching it 20 years later will probably make you cry.


23. Make a list of things that truly make you happy.
And make sure to do these activities as often as possible. You can have all the money in the world and a career that society considers the most successful, yet you can feel miserable. It’s because the real happiness comes from experiences, self-realization, and contribution. While you discover the world checking off the things from this list, try to find out which environment makes you the happiest person in the world.

Whenever you face a hard moment, take out your happiness-list and start doing one of the things from it. As a result, the bad emotion fades away much quicker.


24. Complete the integrity challenge.
Integrity challenge is an idea from I borrowed from Joel Runyon. Oftentimes our actions don’t represent our thoughts and commitments. This weird phenomenon is most visible when a new year begins and most of the people fail to stick to their resolutions. The way it works is simple. Choose one thing, ideally an uncomfortable task like daily jogging for 30 minutes, determine the timeframe (e.g. 90 days) and then just do your thing every single day without failing even once until you arrive at the finish line.

This test points out your weaknesses and questions your willpower. However, once you accomplish it successfully, it gives you a huge motivation boost to pursue more complex goals which every 20-something should aim at.


25. Help a homeless person to get back to a normal life.

Drake and Nicki Minaj are reportedly happy with Lil Wayne and Birdman’s recent reconciliation.

According to TMZ reports, the two artists were forced to take sides during the year-long dispute, which began in December 2014.

Lil Wayne aired his frustration with Birdman and Cash Money via Twitter over their alleged refusal to release his highly anticipated album, Tha Carter V.

‘Nicki and Drake backed Lil Wayne for obvious reasons, but we’re told they still had love for Birdman since he paved the way.’

According to TMZ: ‘We’re told Nicki and Drake felt boxed in, scared to death they’d be caught talking to Birdman.’

Tyga also addressed Lil Wayne and Birdman’s reunion during an interview with Streetz 94.5 earlier.

The L.A. rapper referred to the falling out as a typical, family spat. ‘It’s good, Wayne’s family’. He said.

‘When you got history with somebody, you always gonna go back to that.’

Lil Wayne and Birdman performed together at LIV nightclub in Miami on January 17.

On Wednesday January 20, the pair were pictured together in the studio alongside Yo Gotti.

John Okafor Receives ‘Best Comedian’ Award From Governor

Popular Nollywood actor, John Okafor, popularly called Mr Ibu, has received the ‘best comedian’ award from the governor of Enugu State, Sullivan Chime.

The Enugu State born actor took to his official Instagram page to share the good news with his fans. He posted the above photo with the caption;

“Best Comedian of the year, even in the eye of my humble Governor, His Excellency Sullivan Chime”.

John Okafor’s movies include ‘Mr Ibu’, ‘Sheikoko’, ‘Mr Limpopo’ amongst others. Congratulations to him.

Here are your quick and dirty, editorial-free WWE Royal Rumble 2016 results. The show was headlined by the Royal Rumble match, featuring the WWE World Heavyweight Champion defending in the Rumble for the fist time since 1992.

WWE Royal Rumble 2016 Results:

– Kickoff Match: Jack Swagger and Mark Henry defeated The Ascension, The Dudley Boyz, and Damien Sandow and Darren Young. This earned Henry and Swagger spots in the Royal Rumble match.

1. Last Man Standing Match: Dean Ambrose (c) defeated Kevin Owens. Ambrose retained after shoving Owens off the top rope through two tables at ringside.

2. Tag Team Championship Match: The New Day (c) defeated The Usos. Before the match, Xavier Woods debuted his new trombone, Francesca II. New Day retained the championship after countering a top rope splash attempt into The Big Ending.

3. United States Championship: Kalisto defeated Alberto Del Rio (c).
Kalisto pinned Del Rio with a Salida del Sol to win his second United States Championship.

4. Divas Championship Match: Charlotte (c) defeated Becky Lynch. Ric Flair interfered, tossing his jacket in Becky’s face. Charlotte hit a spear to win the match and retain the championship. After the match, Sasha Banks came to the ring, challenged Charlotte, teased an allegiance and ultimately locked her in the Banks Statement.

5. Royal Rumble Match: Triple H was the winner. AJ Styles made his WWE debut, entering at #3. He lasted in the match until he was eliminated by Kevin Owens. Owens was eliminated by Sami Zayn in another unexpected moment. Near the middle of the match, Vince McMahon and the League of Nations pulled Roman out through the ropes and incapacitated him, putting him through a table. Roman was taken away by EMTs. Brock Lesnar was eliminated by the already-eliminated Wyatt Family in a 4-on-1 attack. Roman returned late in the match to get a batch of eliminations. Triple H entered at #30.

The final four were Triple H, Sheamus, Reigns and Dean Ambrose. Reigns eliminated Sheamus with a Superman Punch, only to be eliminated by Triple H. Triple H eliminated Ambrose to win the Rumble match and become the new WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

1. We don’t consider a romantic relationship as a top priority.
To us, life is full of all kinds of possibilities and we often have great ideas to be put into practice. We tend to spend more time and efforts on our work but not just on a romantic relationship.

2. We are more brains than beauty.

While not always the case, we may tend to be more attractive on the inside than on the outside. Generally speaking, smart people have a “hidden beauty” and it takes a special person to appreciate and acknowledge it.

3. We consider our intelligence as its own reward.

Being smart gives us self-fulfillment that takes the place of a need to be fulfilled in a relationship for some people. We get our greatest fulfillment from our achievements.

4. We dig deep
This can be a difficult thing when it comes to dating. We tend to dig deep into a person’s soul to ascertain the level of interest and commitment.

5. We don’t dance around issues.
We confront problems in a relationship with the confidence that we are in the right — some people don’t like that! We are smart and we know what is right and what is wrong, and we do not mind letting you know what is wrong with the relationship.

6. It’s difficult to understand us at times.

Our mind is complicated and it’s hard to explain everything. But we do try hard to be understood.

7. We often miss subtle cues.

10 Ways to Get Over Ourselves

We take ourselves too seriously. We allow ourselves to get tied up in things that are insignificant in the grand scheme of things. A person cuts us off on the way to work, and it ruins our whole day or the stranger in front of us at the coffee shop grabs the last croissant and we curse them on the way out. We get upset with our partners for not taking out the trash, or let our lazy co-worker get under our skin. But remember, we can’t change anyone but ourselves. We can live a life where other people dictate our feelings, or we can be the ones in control. A person starts to live when they can live outside themselves. So here is a piece of humble pie, let’s eat it and get over ourselves.

1. We need to tell ourselves to get over ourselves.
We need to remind ourselves that it’s not about us. So I suggest you tell yourself, out loud and in the mirror, to get over yourself – over and over. Put a post-it note on your computer at work or leave a reminder on your phone. Just remember, it’s not about you. The more we can remember that, the easier life is.


2. We can think about the size of the Universe.

We are but a speck in the grand scale of space and time, but so often we think that we are larger than life. Think about how enormous the Universe is and the Universe of that Universe, and then think about where you are to put it all into perspective. So, so tiny.

Don’t be one of those people. Of course, life is challenging and sometimes our problems seem insurmountable, but with a little selfless thinking we can check ourselves at the door and approach those hurdles realistically.

3. We could make a farting noise with our mouth.
When we get so caught up in our own negativity, sometimes all it takes is just a small trigger to break our state. Try making a farting noise with your mouth the next time you get too much in your own head. The fact that you probably don’t want to do it is even more reason why you should, so you can get over yourself and out of your head.


4. We really should just dance.
Dancing is good for the soul. The next time your mind starts to run wild, just stop, and dance. Just like number three, it’s about breaking your state of mind.

We are in control of what we focus on. When we all of a sudden see countless Volkswagons on the road, it’s not because there are so many, it’s because we just purchased one. When we focus on the good stuff, that’s what we’ll see. Perception is projection.

It’s almost impossible to be in a bad mood when laughing. Fake it until you make it. Just turn that frown upside down and make it a happy face.     It’s all around us, yet goes mostly unnoticed or unappreciated until it is missing.
8. We need to take deep breaths.
We often forget how grounding and calming our breath can be. When you feel flustered or upset, stop and take three long breaths, inhaling through your mouth and exhaling through the nose. The Beatles said it best – Love is all you need. When we stop making it about us and tell someone we love them, it helps calm us down and get back in touch with what matters most. This crazy thing we call love. The faster we get over ourselves, the faster we can spread love with the world around us.


10. We should remember that the way we perceive the world is not actually what is.
Our map is not the territory. How we perceive the world is not actually what is. Reminding ourselves that everyone has their own perception of reality gets us thinking more about where we’re coming from, as well as others.
